Established 80 years ago, Hardies enjoy a unique position within the Polymer Processing Industry.  Family owned and now in the third generation few companies can match our reputation for total customer service.  

Jim and Graeme Hardie began trading in Glasgow in 1924 and were appointed at that time by the Anchor Chemical Company to be their sales agent in Scotland, primarily for rubber processing additives.  In turn, Anchor Chemicals were appointed in 1959 as agents for Marbons ‘Cycolac’ brand of ABS.

It was in 1960 that Hardies achieved their first success with Cycolac, when NCR specified the material for the first time in its cash register machines. 

Over the following years, Hardies added Injection moulding machines to their range along with a full range of ancillary equipment. The material portfolio continued to expand and today covers a vast range of products to meet our customers requirements.
